Happy Thanksgiving!

Tom TurkeyHappy Thanksgiving Everyone!

We will be celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow with just our family. Tonight most of us sang (those that were able to) in the choir at our church’s Thanksgiving Eve service. It was well attended this year and included pie afterwards.

Kelvin’s Back Injury

Kelvin hurt his back two weeks ago overworking and lifting too much. He has been to the doctor and chiropractor, who think he has some herniated tissue. Even after many pain killers, medications, excersises, and stretches, he still has severe lower back pain. This makes it hard for him to sleep at night, especially with a restless leg. He would really like to work again, especially since there is a lot to do with his first Gorans Flock. Please keep Kelvin in your prayers.

Joseph Comes Home Today!

Joseph is on winter furlough at A.L.E.R.T. Susan and Joshua are going down to the twin cities to pick him up at the airport tonight. We are all excited to see him again, especially because he’s been gone from us since July. Joseph plans on going back to A.L.E.R.T. in January after their winter break.

Kraemers to perform at the Barn Theater!

Our family recenly auditioned at the Barn Theater (our local community theater) for their Christmas variety show. The whole family sang “Build a Bridge,” John played “Jingle Bells” on the piano, Joshua played a jazz version of “O Christmas Tree” and Mom (Susan) sang “O Holy Night.” The director of the Barn Theater thoroughly enjoyed hearing our family sing together and said he would put us at the very end of the first act. The only thing we wish we had to audition for “Build a Bridge” was Joseph, because he plays the guitar on this song. The nights of the show are December 16th, 17th, and 18th.
