Susan came back from the hospital Thursday night. Her vein surgery was longer than had been expected since her leg needed additional stripping. That is why the surgeon had to make 7 incisions instead of 3 and take 2 hours to complete the surgery instead of 1. She felt some leg pain after the morphine wore off, but is doing better today. The doctor says to stay off her feet for 2 whole days. View the blog photo.
The rest of the family is doing well with help/meals from neighbors and other friends.
Abigail is at a horse rodeo today in South Dakota, and Joshua is accompanying tomorrow’s church service on the piano.
